Many open-minded journal editors have published the findings of our research in Materials Science and Microbiology. Six papers have recently been published and many papers are under process of consideration.
A person suffering from a chronic malady or undiagnosed disease is not usually interested whether a methodology of cure has been scientifically proven or established. Rather, such a person would jump at the opportunity to try the treatment as long as there is no possibility for negative side-effects.
Unfortunately, science has frequently lagged behind innovations or technology as scientists are busy analyzing the cause after the event has occurred or discussing views and counter views. Great innovations in science have been delayed for years because of refusal by publishers of medical journals to publish something before it was reviewed by peer groups. Scientists seem to be isolated from society and mired by a fortress of rules, regulations, methodology, and statistics thus contributing to isolated thinking and often tunnel vision.
Enrico Fermi's breakthrough paper on the weak interaction theory of beta decay, and, Paul Lauterbur and Peter Mansfield's Nobel Prize winning paper in Physiology/ Medicine were rejected by 'Nature'. When his paper was sent for peer review by 'Physical Review', Einstein got annoyed and wrote "We (Mr. Rosen and I) had sent you our manuscript for publication and had not authorized you to show it to specialists before it is printed. I see no reason to address the - in any case erroneous - comments of your anonymous expert. On the basis of this incident I prefer to publish the paper elsewhere". After this incident, Einstein vowed never again to publish in— 'Physical Review' and he didn't. The Einstein-Rosen paper eventually appeared in the 'Journal of the Franklin Institute'.
Not much has change to this day as scientists, editors of journals and their peer reviewers often accept or reject papers based on anonymous experts, dogmas, politics, narrow thinking and regimentation. This unfortunate circumstance effects current science and scientific associations and their journals, and is driving away the innovative scientists who have fresh and visionary approaches.
There are many current examples where the visionary scientists are driven to desperation as they know the value of their findings to help humankind. The one silver lining is that because of internet technology, scientists are now able to express their findings through individual sites which often allude to the shallowness of the scientific community.
While Mr.Trivedi’s thought intervention has been proven to show significant changes in gene morphology as well as in isotope abundance of carbon (amongst several other unusual phenomena), the journals, instead of enthusiastically embracing the exploration of the causes and effects, have been hiding behind the fortress of anonymous experts, peer groups, etc.
The results obtained on control (standard) and treated (those exposed to thought Transmission) samples are analyzed and compiled in the form of many scientific papers and communicated to various journals in the fields of Materials Science, Medicine, Microbiology and alternative and complementary medicine, etc,. Some of these have been returned promptly from editor's desk which has been rather surprising.
On one hand scientists are committed to being objective and rational and thus have done numerous studies which challenge the healing powers of various Gurus, Healers and those with unique paranormal powers. However when scientific proof exists of the power of thought intervention in the case of Mr. Trivedi, many scientists have shown themselves to be reticent to further study or publish findings on the phenomenon.
It is time that science, which deviated long ago from the belief in the power of the subjective world of thoughts, emotions and spirituality and the concept of one single energy that has created the cosmos, return to the study of this vital phenomenon. The rejection of technical papers by journals in this arena is not surprising yet soon sciences such as Mr. Trivedi's Science of Information Field Technology - the science linked with mind and consciousness – will be sought by researchers worldwide as scientists return full circle and find that study of the power of the “spiritual” – of mind and consciousness, is the ultimate destination of all scientific study.
